Cowboys and Cows (Big Cows)

Well, we're in "Big D", Dallas, well, just a little bit west of Dallas and East of Fort Worth, to be more specific, Arlington. This place is so big it seems as thought its one town, kinda like Los Angles. Great Campground though. We're right in the middle of town and you would never know it. Large camp sites, Clean, and believe it or not, Quiet. "Treetops RV Village". Today we had 2 goals, Camping World and the Fort Worth Stockyards. Now camping world is a place where you leave money for a few trinkets that you think you can't live without. The Stockyards is another historic part of the Chisholm Trail. This is where cattle were combined together to make the long trip north. "Texas Longhorns", Big, and Bigger Horns. According to the cowboys here these horns never quit growing, and from the size of them, I'm convinced. This small herd is paraded through the stockyard twice a day for us city slickers, the Trail Boss said "these cows have done it so many times they don't need the cowboys just someone to wake'em up and open the gate". Tomorrow it's the Texas State Fair, Seniors day tomorrow, and I qualify. Next its the "6th Floor Museum". This is the place where Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President Kennedy from. Looking forward to that one. History, lately we've been surrounded by History. See Ya
Oh yes, see that first picture. We had just bought a couple of trinkets in the store and I went to put them in the car, came back and some lonesome cowboy was trying to pick up the Gypsy. Sent him on his way though. You got to watch the Gypsy all the time.
