Very Little Changes (57785)

The Gypsy and I took the Mini shuttle on a ride thru the Black Hills of South Dakota today. What a great ride. The weather today is calm and clear with temps in the mid 80's. Yesterday, or rather the whole weekend, was cold, windy, and rainy. What a difference a day makes. As I told you the other day, Sturgis is dead, all the bikers have gone home, the residence have retured home and the shops are having great sales before they close for the winter. Our ride today took us thru Deadwood, an old western town that really has had very little changes since its hayday. Deadwood became a town in 1876 and its claim to fame was mining, saloons, and gambling. Don't see much mining anymore, although I'm sure its there, on the other hand, Saloons and Casinos are thriving. This has been a great stop, we've enjoyed it greatly. Tonight we sit in the Starship and watch a little football. GO CHARGERS, BOOOOOOOOO RAIDERS. Tomorrow, we ride to Wall, S. Dakota. Whats there you say, Got no Idea, but we're still going. So from the flight deck, SEE Ya

Yes! Go Chargers, BOO Raiders!! Andy is watching that game right now!
So when/if you make it to TN., you'll have to take a ride on the Natchez Trace to a little place called The Loveless Cafe... I think you'd like it!
