Motorcycle Mecca

Sturgis, Motorcycle Mania. The Starship left Wyoming this morning and docked in the Black hills of South Dakota. Kind of a nice day, but it is starting to rain and the forcast is rain for Sat. and Sun. Monday on the other hand will bring 80+ temps. So the starship will sit for a while so that the Gypsy and I can ride the Mini Pod into Sturgis and the surrounding area. Took a ride to Deadwood this afternoon. Deadwood is an old Mining town turned tourist trap. The Indians on the other hand have several Casinos in town and one of them bought me a half of a tank of desel for the Starship. Bless those Indians. The pictures posted is of the Gypsy and I in the "Irma Hotel", that Buffalo Bill Cody built in Cody Wy. and named after his youngest daughter. The bar we are having breakfast at was shipped to Cody in 1902 and was a gift from Queen Victoria of England as a thank you gift for bringing his Wild West Show to them. Oh yea, back to Sturgis, the big motorcycle rally was a couple of weeks ago, then, thousands of bikes were here, now, just a couple of cars going down the street at the same time. All the residents have returned, and life gets back to preparing for winter, which is just around the corner. So from the flight deck, See Ya
