I JUST GOT PAID

The Government just gave me some more money. So, today we left Bryce Canyon Nat. Park and traveled to Torrey Utah which is the western gateway to Capital Reef Nat. Park. The place we've parked is very nice and it has FREE WiFi. So now I can post to the Blog whenever I want. Bryce was a beautiful place. The last day there the Gypsy talked me into going halfway down into the bowels of the earth again. I am a weak man, so I said ok. On the way down I ran into 50 sixth graders on there way up. After we had gone down far enough I turned around and started back up. Halfway back up I ran into an adult from the 50 kids and we began to talk. He was the principal and the kids were from Brooklyn New York. These kids had placed in the top 10% of math and reading and this was there reward. From what I understand a company in Salt Lake city provided the funds. This was the first time any of these kids had been out of the city. If there impression of the great outdoors was as great as mine, they will never forget it.

Sunday the Gypsy and I took a trip in the shuttle craft out into the outer reaches of Bryce. We found a small lake (Pine Lake) and the edge of a large canyon (Henderson Canyon). Well we made it back and we are ready for the next adventure. More to come on Capital Reef Nat. Park and the surrounding area. So from the Starship Escape, See Ya

The Captain and his Gypsy.
