Here we are at the end of another season. Tomorrow the Gypsy and I will lite up the engines of the Starship Escape and move on to another adventure. This 2 year adventure is now past 9 years, who would have thought that.
Tomorrow we disconnect from Arizona and head north to Utah. We've been in Arizona for 7 months. It seems like just yesterday that we pulled into El Mirage and thought, we got 7 months before we leave, that seems like a long time and then all of a sudden it's time to pack and leave. We've had a great winter here, winter being 75 to 85, tough winter.
So, next stop, Monument Valley. For those of you that know nothing about Monument Valley, that's John Wayne territory. Many of the old west western films were made right there. So, tomorrow night the Gypsy and I sleep under the Stars of the old west with the spirits of John Wayne, Gene Audtry, the Lone Ranger and all the rest of the cowboys of yesterday.
So the adventures of the Captain and his Gypsy start again tomorrow morning with the sounds of the engine of the Star Ship Escape. As we break ties with Arizona we look back at a great winter. Our friends in Arizona are without a doubt the greatest. Arizona, see ya in 6 months.
