It's Saturday Morning

yeah, It's Saturday morning and it's early. Big day ahead, Soccer games starting at 9, and packing to leave the great state of Utah tomorrow.
Yesterday was a nice quiet day until someone suggested we go on a hike. Not exactly excited about that decision until some one said yeah, a hike to donut falls. DONUT! Ok, now you have my attention. So. off we go, to the store where donuts are procured and packed away. So I see, the reward is donuts, I'm still ok with that. The hike is not long and soon we are there, and the donuts come out and swiftly are gone. Beautiful place, rushing water with falls changing colors surrounded by beautiful mountains. Not a bad place to eat a donut.
We're getting ready to leave Utah on Sunday morning and head south for the winter. It sure doesn't seem like winter is coming but I'm beginning to notice a few signs of warning. For instance, green leaves are turning different colors and falling to the ground, Flip flops and shorts are no longer on the shelves at walmart, they have been replaced with camo clothing, scarves, gloves and heavy jackets, anti-freeze, and ice scrapers. Now that's a sign of things to come. Learn to read the signs folks, learn to read the signs.
So, why leave on Sunday morning, cause Sunday morning in Utah is magical. Most of Utah is in church and the roads are basically clear, for that matter so is Costco and Sams Club. So, away we go. Next stop is overnight in Mesquite, Half way there. Projected temp is just above 100. Get use to it boy, there's more to come. Monday morning a little breakfast at the casino and back on the road heading south to our winter home, PEM, otherwise known as Pueblo El Mirage.
Ok, this post is getting a little long and I have things to do, but, our stay at Jordanelle State Park was once again a great time. Thanks to all the fine folks at the Jordanelle State Park.
Hear are the pictures from yesterday.
