lets talk money

    Ok, before we talk money, here's an update. Remember the small town girl Sammy who got her butt kicked at the Heber City Demolition Derby? Well, Sammy and dad took the car back to the barn and rebuilt the whole bottom side and took it to the next derby in Coalville on Saturday night. Revenge was what she was planning on the two sisters, however the two sisters cars were so beat-up they couldn't get them back together for the next derby. Good thing, Sammy kicked every body's butt that showed up. FIRST place and and a victory sum of $1,000, and on top of that her major sponsor Karl Malone gave her another thousand. So, what does Sammy do with all that money in her pocket? She buys a boat. What the heck is that all about? But a great big congratulation  to Sammy the Killer.
    Ok, lets talk money. I really need to quit watching the News, all it does is get me all up-set. It seems as though Christmas and political campaigning are a lot alike, they start earlier and earlier each year. Remember when nothing was said about Christmas till after Thanksgiving? Well, we're more than a year away from the next election and if your watching the news it would seem as though it's next month. Money seems to be a major point of interest. Watching those who have thrown there hat into the ring deal with the issue of money is a little funny. Some will talk about how much money they have, others will say they were flat broke, some are embarrassed with how much money they may have, and others will do anything and say anything to raise more money. In my life time I have known people with a LOT of money, some with really very little money, the amount of money you may or may not have does not define who you are, it's the content of your heart that defines who you are. Money is nothing more than a tool. Ok, that's enough wisdom from the ole man. See ya, the ole man counting his money and trying to figure out what to do with it. oh, its just dimes.
