Another year has come and gone. Just sitting hear this morning thinking about this last year. Do you realize that March 1st the Gipsy and I will have been on this vacation for 5 years. It seems like just yesterday when we bought the Star Ship and cast off. Our plans have changed over time from the original but all for the best. This year we took a mini vacation to Canada to visit some friends and see out northern neighbors. Had a great time in Vancouver, we had been warned that the weather could be almost anything, turned out it was perfect the whole time we were there. (see posted photos) We spent the summer again at the Jordanelle State park in Utah and spent time with Jeremy and Grace and the kids. Watching them grow up is a great experence. The little guy Carsten has been taking a lot off of his sister Lorali, but he's growing up alittle more and you can tell the taking is going to stop real soon. Payback is in the air. To be honest 95% of the time they are perfect togather. Left the big motor cycle in Utah this year and started riding a pedal bike instead. The old people I ride with are still trying to kill me, but so far I'm surviving. The Gypsy and I keep talking about selling the Star Ship, but so far its just talk, but we're talking. This Nomadic life style is pretty tough to give up for a neighborhood that never changes, Stability, I'm afraid will become boring. Never the less, Change is coming. The first of the year is tomorrow and management has asked if I would work an extra day to help park people moving in tomorrow. Seems as though 45 new units will be moving in and each one needs help getting into there sites. The neighborhood is filling up. I was just outside talking to a friend that moved in yesterday and his comment was "next year I'll be hear sooner. Wherever he came from, was 18 yesterday. On the other had I have friends who stayed here over the summer and his comment was "that won't happen again", seens as though the temp day and night never got below 104 for about a 6 weeks. So, as a Nomad I can chase the weather and avoid exterme heat and cold for extended periods of time. What a life, how sweet it is. Ok, enough for now, check out the pictures from this year on the road. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
