Dreamin

We left Utah just a week ago. It seems like we been gone a lot longer than that. Looking back over our recent photos, leaving Utah was not as tough as leaving the grand kids. We stayed in Utah a little longer than we had planned because the newest member of the family decided he was more comfortable where he was then venturing into the unknown. If he had been listening to the news you really can't blame him. Carston is the newest member to the family, born on 10/21/10. It looks like his big sister is going to accept him into the family, at least for now. Tomorrow may be a different story, especially when he decides he wants something she has. His only chance is to survive the early years, and maybe some day, just maybe, his sister will bring home cute girlfriends. To survive however he must remember to walk carefully, this girl ain't no sissy, big sis can be a tough player.
Leaving Utah, traveling thru Nevada and landing in California was a great ride. Traveling thru northern Ca. was great. The biggest thing I noticed this year was that the Ca. dept. of forestry has decided to clean up the forest, at least along the Hwy where I can see. Dead trees have been dropped and removed and the forest floor has been cleaned up. Arrived in Redding Ca. to spend some time with my brother and his family. Having a great time and our camping spot couldn't get much better, right on the Sacramento river. Open the door and there is the river, including the ducks and geese. Weather has been a little rainy but not bad enough to complain about, especially when you get to my brothers house and enter his MAN CAVE. He has added on to his garage and made it a true testosterone high sanctuary. TV showing sports and Fox news, the floor is probably a little dirty, the dogs have the run of the place, there's a frig. full of beverages, including an ice machine, an over stuffed couch and a couple of lazy boy chairs complete with lazy boys, and a work shop for honey due projects and just plain creativity for the arts. The cave is complete with a wood burning stove for winter and a swamp cooler for the summer. I'm sure you've heard "don't leave home with out it", at the cave its simply "don't leave home".

So once again from the Starship, "SEE YA"
