At 10am on the 25th of april we had ignition of the main engine. Refueling was the order to take place first. So we stopped by the bank and got a small loan. The tank was only 1/2 empty so we were able to get by with just a signature loan. 1/2 empty at $3.86 (fry's discounted) translates to $145.00. About the same as a large SUV in California, if it was bone dry.
So at 10:40am we cleared Buckeye arizona. First stop on the big escape is Payson Arizona. This is a far cry from the Arizona I've grown accuston to, Here there are Mountains and Pine trees with a temp. in the high 70's. Our docking station isn't all that great however here at Payson Campground. Seems as though there is a huge Hot Rod show in town tomorrow and I was lucky to get a spot at all. After docking and connecting all the land lines it appears I'm next to the rich and famous. Must be, the coach is a Prevost, worth in the neighborhood of 1million, as in dollors. As I pulled in I'm sure the comments were "there goes the neighborhood". The Starship ran well as the captain guided her thru the Phoenix freeway system and onto the open road. The Gypsy was busy tending to the requests of the captain, like whats rattling back there, got anything for me to drink, how about a snack. As usual the Gypsy had every thing under control. Looking forward to tomorrow, I'll post again here real soon. So from the Flight deck, The Captain and His Gypsy is signing out.
