A milestone has come and gone. The first of April marked 12 years of an amazing adventure. Who would have guessed that a planned 2 year adventure would take us so many places and introduce us to so many new friends. What a ride this has been. Adventures always fade away to make room for the new. We have rented a house in Sandy, Utah. Why rent? cause buying is so a commitment and being with the Gypsy in the Starship is so uncommittable, and that, is where I'm most comfortable. So, the Starship is going up for sale. That will be a tough day. We have lived in the Starship longer than any house we have owned. There will be some adjustments though, like, in the starship it is only 3 full steps to the bathroom. From my easy chair to the kitchen, that to is about 3 steps. If you lose something in the starship there is only a few places to look. If you don't like the neighbors, you simply start up the motor and move. If the electricity goes out, start up the generator. House cleaning? just about and hour. I'm beginning to think leaving this life style is crazy. But yesterday was a milestone. 72. I use to think that 72 was so far in my future and then all of a sudden you wake up one morning and 72 is at your front door. So now to see 72 I need to look over my shoulder as it begins to fade into history. As I look back at the 72 years, I'm pretty fortunate. A loving wife (Miss Karen aka the Gypsy) 2 great sons, and a favorite daughter in law, and 2 amazing grandchildren. I've always had a roof over my head, never been hungry, no one has tried to kill me, (that I know of) and I haven't tried to kill anyone. Well, I'm going to sign off for now, I will keep you informed on this new adventure. Never be afraid of a new adventure it just may be spectacular. Just because its new means nothing, Remember, The Ark was built by someone with no experience, The Titanic was built by professionals.
