Lets talk Hawaii

Well, the family is back from Hawaii. Never ever thought I would go to Hawaii so when the opportunity came along, I didn't know what to expect. It's winter here in the Phoenix Valley and although it's the desert, it's cold, cold being relevant of course, low 60s high 50s. So, how should I pack for the great state of Hawaii vacation? Weather.com should know. Oh my, 80 to 85 with a low at night of 70. Get the bags out, nothing but flip flops, shorts, and T shirts. NOW I'm excited.
Big expectations about flying into Hawaii, Getting Leighed by a pretty Hawaiian girl at the airport was high on the list. Didn't happen. In fact it was a few days later at a Hawaiian Luau that I got leighed and it was by a big Samoan dude. Not quiet the same. Did you know there are no snakes in Hawaii? yep, no snakes. Didn't see any sea gulls either. What they do have is Spiders. BIG, and really fast.
Could not have had a nicer place to stay. The beach was right there, and I mean right there. From the windows you could see the whales blowing and slapping the water. Snorkeling in the bay was unbelievable, sea turtles and all those tropical fish you only see in the pet stores. How do you cram a once in a lifetime trip into 7 days? You start at 7 in the morning with a trip to the local coffee shop and don't stop until your out of gas. The trip ended with a visit to Pearl Harbor which I will never forget.
    To my family thanks.
