Yesterday I was told of the upcoming demise of an old friend. We haven't been togater for all that long, but awhile now. We've had coffee togather and in the evening, once in awhild we've had a glass of wine. We've laughed and shed a tear or two, needless to say it has been a good relationship. Lately things just weren't the same, little forgetfullness, slow to respond, almost like they were thinking but just couldn't get it out. Then there was the stuborness to respond, I kind of new the end was close, So yesterday I took them to a specialist, and it didn't take long for a diagnosis. Like everything else conversation came around to money. It's amazing how people think money is requried to help someone. Well, ok, what's money when we're talking about trying to revive an old computer. A new one would be more complicated and I'm kind of use to this one, so today we take her in for a little manipulation with a Geek. Just maybe I can get a little more time out of her before I have to replace her.
I have 2 blog entries ready to go but because I can't upload pictures I just haven't posted them, so give me awhile and lets see how she feels after a session with the Geek.
