Old sayings, old Proverbs, or just truthful sayings, we have all heard them in the past. Like "all that glitters is not gold", or how about, "ya don't know what you've got till it's gone", or how about "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence", now that one, about the grass, I have proven that one many times and discovered it is true, the reson for the greener side, MANURE.
As I get older I have discovered that I need to take a little more time in thought before making decisions and don't believe everything that I hear,or even if it's in print, well, interpretation can go many ways, but if it's on the Internet it has to be true. OK, maybe that one too.
So, where is he going with this and what's the Big NEWS FLASH. I'm getting there just give me a second. Lets talk about "All that glitters is not Gold. I'm sure you have seen the pictures of the new campground we are in this year, all the trees, the green everywhere, the mountains that surround us, the stream that flows through the camp sites, chipmunks scurrying hear and there, squirrels chasing each other up and down the trees, a roaring campfire at night and stars that reach forever, Moose that just may walk by the camp site, and oh yea, I forgot about the cute little mice, we will discuss the cute ($%%&%&^$#) little mice in much more detail in the next blog entry, that one you will not want to mis, believe me. Ok, back to the gold. So as you can see this place glitters like gold. All in all it just wasn't the kind of gold we had in mind. So, Monday the Captain and his Gypsy packed up the Starship and went back to the Jordanelle State Park. Welcomed back with open arms and we fell right back into the swing of things. Sure glad that experment is over. Moral to the story, Old Gold is sometimes more valuable then New Gold. Sorry, no pictures at this time. Wait for the next blog on mice, there will be pictures.
