New Wheels

Home is all set up now, complete with fake grass and lighted palm trees. The decision was made this year to sell the Golf Cart, something was said about ME needing a little more exercise, I have no Idea what she meant by that except I now have no Golf Cart. However, once again in the spirit of exercise and a happy Gypsy I have a new hobby and a couple of new wheels. The new wheels took a little time though. It all started when I joined the bike club here at the park. My only bike was an older mountain bike. Now get this picture I'm the youngest person in the whole bike club and I'm riding the oldest and slowest bike of the group. Part of the slow problem may be because I for got to check the air pressure on the tires, It seems as though I was riding on 35 PSI instead of the 65 that was required, thus the rolling motion of the tires was a little SLOW and hard to pedal. Not only was the bike not up to par I didn't have the proper atire, clothes, costume, what ever. So, how did I do on my first ride with the old guys? Not dead last, but I couldn't see the leaders either. So, new wheels are needed and a new costume, and a lot of work on conditioning. So, how am I doing now? Well its like this. On Thursdays we ride to a restaurant for breakfast. There is about 50 riders, so you see this is not a small group of old guys and gals. The rest. has 3 tables set up for us when we arrive. Table 1, 2 and 3. The first ride I was at table 3, last week I was at table 2, my goal is table 1. As you can see from the pictures we're serious here, FAST bike with helmet, and a brand new costume. Ride on cowboy ride like the wind and catch up with those all men. See Ya the Captain and his Gypsy.
