Unhook and move em out

Tomorrow the Starship Escape will break loose of the Arizona Desert and head for the sea shores of California. The Starship has been docked for 5 1/2 months here at Pueblo El Mirage RV resort. Tomorrow the jacks come up, we disconnect the power, water and waste and light the big diesel and roll out. Everything is packed and stowed in the storage, the motorcycle is gased and loaded and the Honda shuttle craft is gased and packed, its time to roll. Next stop is a short one, Temecula, for a little maintenance and paint and then its down to Fiddlers Cove on the beaches of Coranado. The Starship will dock there for 3 beautiful weeks. Looking forward to napping on the beach and bicyling into Coranado for early morning bagels and coffee. The nose of the Starship will be about 30 feet from the waters edge and facing the skyline of San Diego, now it don't get much better than that. The stay here at Pueblo El Mirge RV resort has been great. Just looking over the pictures and remembering what a great time we had this winter. Last night was the BIG BLOWOUT dance and diner. Country Western band, Steak and potatoes, salad and cup cakes. You say, what did that cost, $3.00. You will spend more than that for a single visit to Starbucks. This year the Gypsy and The Captain decided to work here at PEM. As you know I was the Pool Boy. Sounds like a great job, however it was boring and my heart just couldn't take any more of all the barely clad beach bunnies (circa 1940). But hang on, Next year I have a new job. Let me give you a clue. One bullet. Thats right Deputy Barney. SECURITY. My job will be to keep law and order here at PEM. Let me tell you there is nothing worse then a partying 80 year old whose wife has gone home, and by home I mean back to there Rig. The Gypsy will be working at Activities, which means party planing. So hang on for next year.  Big rigs (Large RVs) started pulling out this morning, heading in all directions for a new stop or just heading back home. Big rigs are leaving in masses, like a bathtub draining. The 10 and the 17 will be packed until we have all left. I will be on the 10 with a whole lot of company. More to come at the next docking point. Here are some pictures frome out stay here at PEM. So from The Gypsy and The Captain, SEE YA
