Defeat

Losing is tough. I've always been pretty easy going and losing really hurts, even if I don't show it outwardly, inside I'm crushed.
Today, I admitted defeat. This is not, an ordinary defeat, this one is going to cost me $$$$. Was it last year or the year before? I can't remember, anyway My weight had moved to the 249 lb bracket and I went on Nutrisystem. The system worked great and I lost enough to make me think, hey, I don't need this system anymore I can do this on my own. Today, as I stepped on the scale, reality slapped me in the face and I realized, NO you can not do it own your own. So, I just made the phone call and talked to Marie Osmond and told her I was a failure and I needed to go back on her Nutrisystem. She welcomed me back with a beautiful smile and said we could take care of this together. So, here we go. The money was going to be spent anyway, either on Nutrisystem or in the purchase of new pants, and the closet is already full of clothes and I still need to eat, so. I will keep you posted on the dramatic loss of weight and inches.

Next. We are setup at the Jordanelle State Park in Utah and once again, SPRING is hell. We came a little early this year, no, we came way too early. I've seen, rain, snow and wind and I really don't like either of these. The big problem has been trying to find my long pants and shoes. I know this is just for a short season and then summer will take over and all will be well, but in the mean time, IT'S HELL I tell ya, IT'S HELL.

Next week we're headed for Rapid City South Dakota to get my drivers lic. renewed. Being a resident of SD is not very tough, but they do like you to visit the state and stay at least 1 night every  5 years. So, to South Dakota we go.

I would post a picture but it would probably be redacted before it could be published.

Good night from the Captain.
