A walk in the Park

OK, so just where is the captain and the Gypsy. This year we're in a new park. Spruces, about 10 miles up the Big Cottonwood Canyon. Who would have guessed that just 10 miles would make such a difference, from downtown civilization to woodsy old time camping. As you know the captain and the Gypsy don't like to just sit around so once again we are doing part time work at the camp. Not the same as last year at the Jordanelle though. At the Jordanelle we were a little higher on the totem pole, fancy buggy to ride in, a secluded trail to maintain, a lawn or two to mow, how sweet is was. Now, well, an ole hand-me-down half shot golf cart, and tent sites to clean. From riches to rags. But, it was time to move on and find a change. Don't get me wrong, this place is beautiful, the work, if you can really call it work is easy, and the grand kids are 20 min. or 10 miles away. Which according to the Gypsy trumps my fancy buggy and all the rest. So, life is still sweet and all is well. These pictures are of the new park, Spruces.
