It is now 2012. I think I have made the comment before but it is worth repeating "yesterdays grandparents are not todays grandparents." The evening started with a small gathering of friends having dinner and then the big party started. The park sponsored the BIG New Years bash. Normally I don't stay up for New Years, but the Gypsy and I were asked to help work at the party. I thought we would be through with our duties in a couple of hours, which started at 7:30. Once again what I thought and what reality was didn't match up. We left the party at 1am. I haven't seen 1am, well, I really can't remember the last time I say 1am. The music started at 7:30 and so did the partiers. Music and dancing all the way to the end. After watching all of the evenings festivities, there is no doubt, old is a choice, and those here did not choose old, at least not for last night. I had pool duties this morning and I noticed the people I seen last night were no where to be seen. Maybe old can't be denied. But I can tell you this, it will definetly be challenged. As soon as the sun heats up the air, the pool, the golf course, and all the other activiteis will be in full swing, and old will be forced to try again later. As I said no pictures posted, by request.
