This last weekend, the Gypsy and I decided to visit Salt Lake city to celebrate our grandaughter's 2nd birthday. The trip is approx. 750 miles north of Phoenix and the "Valley of the Sun". 750 miles means a huge temp and color change. The desert at this time of the year is mostly greens and browns. 750 miles north means white. This last thursday we headed back to the Phoenix area and the temp in Salt Lake was 38, Phoenix 88. As you might know, Utah is our summer home. So, enclosed you will see photos of our campsite as it looks today.
I also started a new job today. I am now employed by "Aramark". Today I was working in the Surprise Az. ball park where the Texas Rangers play. More to come on this adventure, and I do mean adventure. I've never ran a cash register in my life, nor sold beer. Weeeeeee, what a day.
The last pictures are of the docks at our summer home. One in the summer, the other in the winter.
The Captain.
