As you know, I haven't put out a posting in almost a month. I would like to say I've just been busy, or nothing to report, however, laziness may be more truthful. I haven't been all that busy and there certainly has been many things going on. Golf yesterday and surprisingly I didn't embarace myself all that much. Then there's lawn bowling, now there I haven't won a game all year nor have I been on a wining team. Went to an air museum last week which specialized in WWII planes. I have a whole new respect for the airmen of that era. They put guners and bombers in places on those aircraft that would be considered cruel and inhumane in todays world.
As I was drinking my morning coffee today I began to reflect on just what the Gypsy and I were doing. It all started out like an extended vacation or camping outing, after a while I thought, no, we are RV'ing, then I began to look around at those who were calling themselves RV'ers (whick I considered myself one of) and then it became clear. If you've been living in an RV for more than 2 years (whick I have) you are nothing more than a part of an upper class (in some cases) troup of roving GYPSIES. We have no permanent home, we never stay very long in one place, we have been known to party a little, we have many friends and aquantences, and we are always happy. We pay federal income taxes but most of us don't pay state income taxes, our mail is sent to someone else, we get up in the morning mostly, and we go to bed usually when it is dark. Our camp sites are great to super great, and we live in what some would call a commune or close neighborhood, sharing food and good times. Enclosed are a few pictures of the so-called camp sites and neighborhoods.
see ya, The Gypsies.
