OK, I told you I would keep you posted on Old Man Winter. In the last entry I said Old Man Winter had not thrown snow and ice at us yet. Well, scratch that. I had to ride the lake peremeter trail today to try and find a break in the fence. It looked like the weather was going to clear up so I took the 4 wheel drive Mule and headed for the lake trail. Now I'm out in the middle of nowhere and here it comes, first light rain, then heaver rain, and then HAIL. Hail as in ice balls. Lucky for the captain the mule has a roof. After a couple of hours on the trail, I'm back in the barn, wet and cold but back. Did I find the break in the fence, not yet, but will try again on thurs., Tomorrow Old Man Winter is expected to continue the fight against the Young Miss Spring. I'm staying in.
