Gee but it's great to be back home

Finally made it to "fiddlers cove" rv campsite. As the song from Simon as in Simon and Garfunkel says "Gee ain't it great to be back home". I forgot just how nice this place is. As you can see from the pictures, it ain't bad. However, getting here, well I shouldn't say getting here, more like our first stop in California, what a rude awakening to the change in climate. We left Arizona with beautiful 70 type temp. and our first stop was the "Golden Acorn" casino just outside Live Oak springs at an elevation of 4100 feet. COLD, now I know cold is relevant, but 40 deg's to the Gypsy and I was COLD. Oh, did I forget to mention the wind and rain, ALL NIGHT. The wind rocked the Starship all night, and I do mean rocked. At about 3am I was ready to crank up the engine and head back to Arizona, but the Gypsy said "just go to sleep", so that's why we are here today. Good decision. I love it here. So from the Gypsy and I, SEE Ya
