A NEW POSITION

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post, however a lot has been happening. So here goes.

It has taken the great state of Utah a while to recognize what the federal government (DOD) discovered years back. The position I work Best at. As you can see from the attached photos its a natural position. The Gypsy and I went to the store Monday and brought home these beauties. However, with anything you buy off the shelf it may not be quite satisfactory. The major problem with the chair was the reclining position. It wasn't quite prone enough. So being a retired Engineering Technician and Tool Designer I took a close look at the problem. I couldn't see a quick reasonable mechinical fix so I ask myself, "What would one of my real engineering friends do?" Simple solution, design a "AAR" adapter (Adjustable-Angle-of Recline) and as you can see from the photos, Just, like a real engineer.

Now for the rest of the news. Can you see from the photos where I am. Thats right, Tuesday the Gypsy and I went to South Dakota. In fact we have now moved there. We are offically residents of the Great state of South Dakota. For you political junkies, The state is split between being Red and Blue. For the first time my vote for President may be counted. You see when I was a resident of the great state of California, it was obvious the state would be blue, no matter how many times I voted. Now, maybe, I can help determine the way a state will swing.

The Gypsy and I flew into Rapid City. S. Dakota on Tues. I was very surprised, It was small and green, with one freeway which had very few cars. We got our business done and took a trip to Mount Rushmore which was just outside of town, very impressive. To tell the truth, there was a lot to do and see in the Rapid City area. The area is filled with Native American history and places to see concerning Native Americans. Also, "Black Hills Gold", tons of that also. Well this was a long posting, hope you enjoyed it, cause I did. So from the Gypsy and the Captain aboard the Starship "Escape" SEE YA
